Visit: North Norfolk

As you may have noticed from my Photos of the Day, last week I took a little vacation from the East Midlands for the lovely North Norfolk coast

Our annual family holiday always involves some essential must dos:

  • Have fish and chips (not forgetting the mushy peas) for lunch
  • Take ages to decide which cake to choose from the many amazing independent bakeries
  • Eat at least one ice cream (even if it’s raining!)
  • Read lots (This holiday: Breakfast at Tiffanys, Atonement, Freakanomics and Girl With The Dragon Tattoo – all recommended)
  • Stop into every antique, charity and second-hand bookshop we come across
  • Take long walks along the beach with the dog
  • Spend ages trying to spot seals/rabbits/butterflies/various birds/other wildlife – while distracting the dog from chasing them

Oh, and take plenty of photos…
