Eat: High tea at Betty’s Tea Rooms

Being as I am a fan of tea, perfectly cooked scones and a cake or two – I was pretty excited at the prospect visit Betty’s Tea Rooms.

Pressed linen napkins, polished silver cutlery, cake stands and a fine selection of teas awaited me – Betty’s is a true fine dining experience.

If you find yourself near Harrogate I highly recommend a visit. But be warned, if you don’t book in advance you will have to form an orderly queue, it’s pretty popular!

I chose the china rose petal tea. It was splendid.

Hooray for afternoon tea!

By rights I should be sick of the sight of cake, having spent all afternoon baking, but these pictures made my mouth water!
