Do: Blog meet up

vintage clothes

Last Saturday we spent a lovely afternoon catching up with some fellow bloggers, Kerry of Kerry Cooks, Jen from Bakerama and Liana from My Sugar Coated Life.

They came to visit us in Leicester for an afternoon of vintage boutique shopping followed by late lunch (with substantial puddings!) at our favourite tea rooms, Mrs Bridges

As we made our way through The Lanes, we chatted wedding planning, cake making, new jobs, blog writing and house decorating… among plenty of other topics!

It’s so nice that writing online has meant making new friendships in “the real world”

Here’s a few snaps from the afternoon…

Have you met up with any fellow bloggers?

    Very cute pics!
I met up with a fellow blogger, after we’d started a friendship by email beyond our blog! We now send the occasional texts and keep up to date with each others worlds, which is bizarre as we barely “know” each other beyond our blogs… strange world hey, but good!

      Thank you,
Indeed strange, but in a good way, blogging is a great medium for connecting with likeminded people, though I don’t think meeting up with fellow bloggers was something either of us anticipated when we started out, an added bonus!
