Make: Apple and Elderflower Mocktail

apple and elderflower

Life has been busy lately so it was a pleasant surprise to wake up this morning and be faced with a day of no plans. The sun is shining, and the garden is calling, if anybody needs me i’ll be spending the afternoon sitting under a shady tree reading a new book and sipping on a refreshing apple and elderflower. Generally i’ll be doing as little as possible all afternoon, and perhaps i’ll think about a barbecue later this evening.

apple, elderflower and mint

For one glass of apple and elderflower mocktail you will need:

  • 25ml elderflower cordial
  • 200ml apple juice
  • 100ml soda water
  • sliced apple- I like to use pink ladies
  • mint to garnish
  • A few ice cubes

Mix the elderflower, apple juice and soda water together in a tall glass, add ice cubes, mint, sliced apple and possibly a straw. Sit back and relax.

Yum, this sounds delicious! Now if only the weather would hold so I can actually enjoy sipping this in the garden…

Yes it’s totally delicious and although they are certainly best drank in the sunshine ☀I must say we were drinking these at Easter so a good alcohol alternative any time really! I can’t help thinking that vodka might work well with this also…..x

  2. Looks so refreshing and delicious!
